About Us: Established in 1995, Solamalai College of Engineering, accredited with an A grade by NAAC and approved by AICTE, is an esteemed institution affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. Formerly known as Raja College of Engineering and Technology, the college became a part of the renowned Solamalai Group in 2016, a brand deeply rooted in Madurai since 1962. The Solamalai Group has diversified its operations across Tamil Nadu, excelling in FMCG distribution, C&F services, goods truck transportation, passenger services, infrastructure, and cinema exhibition. Academic Excellence: Our college offers a diverse range of programs, including seven undergraduate and four postgraduate courses. Recognized for our commitment to innovation, Solamalai College of Engineering achieved a 3.5-star rating in IIC 4.0 and was acknowledged in the "Promising" category in the Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovations Achievement (ARIIA) 2021.
