Prakash Porua is an Indian Tabla Player of Farukhabad Gharana. He is the student of well known tabla artist Shri Bijit Dutta and the world renowned Maestro Shri. Anubrata Chatterjee and Pt. Anindo Chatterjee. Prakash is associated with Hindustani music from a tender age of 6. He is professionally involved in music and is a full time Performer and Teacher. While being deeply rooted in the traditional style of playing, Prakash also understands the need for his art to be contemporary. He actively collaborates on projects that are traditional yet new age, which especially strike a chord with the youth. Prakash is teaching dedicatedly to all age groups starting from 5 years.
