While LEAP Education Programs continue to evolve as dynamic processes, our core principles that remain central to every program are –

1. Challenge and Adventure

Challenge is an action demanding an extra special effort. Adventure is an exciting experience involving acceptable risks and uncertain outcomes.
Backed up by proper preparation and careful instruction, we encourage building of individual self-esteem and self-reliance through responsible risk-taking and hands-on involvement.

2. Joy and Cheer
Joy is the feeling of ecstatic happiness, pleasure, satisfaction or delight; an exhilaration of spirits. The passion or emotion excited by the acquisition or expectation of good pleasurable feelings or emotions caused by success, good fortune, and the like.
Cheer is a state or temper of mind that promotes good spirits and gayety; infuses life, courage and hope; expresses enthusiasm, applause and animation. It is the effect of triumph leading to solace and comfort.

3. Character Development
Character development enhances capacities of the mind, body and spirit to better understand one’s responsibilities to self, others, and the community.
Our inspired leaders create a learning environment through a judicious mix of specially created activities which welcome active participation and sharing of experiences amongst the group in formal and informal settings.

4. Compassion and Service
Compassion is a heartfelt caring connection to each other and the world around us. Service is an active expression of valuing our common humanity, our diversity, and the natural world.
Our Programs are designed to inculcate compassion by active participation within a team structure and through service projects; with a view to encompass both giving and receiving.

5. Social and Environmental Responsibility
Social and environmental responsibility is a sense of integrity that results in choices and actions that have a positive effect on society and the environment.
Our sites and programs offer the perfect ambience and inspiration inviting the participants to make friends with nature by enjoying its fruits and providing opportunities to give back in ample measure.
